We received this letter from Brad's parents...

I Just read about your information form the 983rd Family Readiness site, what you are doing is a wonderful thing, it really helps those of us who have loved ones serving our country in a foreign land.

My son Spc. Brad Westpfahl is serving his second tour in Iraq. His first tour was served while he was an active duty solider with the 2nd Calvary Regiment out of Fort Polk LA. After his active duty time was up he felt he needed to continue to serve his country and joined the reserves, was activated in June 04 to serve with the 983rd out of Southfield MI, he left with this unit on December 27th, and is expected to be in Iraq until sometime into 2006. He is very proud of his country and we as his parents are very, very proud of him.
